What is it like to be a Global Sales Director at Baanx?

Tell us about yourself ✍️
I am Kieron Cartledge, the Global Sales Director of Baanx. I am based in the UK and have lived here all my life. I am the proud father of two amazing boys, one of 8 years and one of 5 months. I started my life as an actor, found sales in my early teens, then moved to recruitment and now I am here! I am what you call a super petrol head, if it has an engine then I want to know about it!
Describe your typical day at Baanx 💻
As the Global Sales Director I overlook 5 sales members as well as 3 project account managers. I oversee the day-to-day sales lifecycle, from inception to completion. I also work closely with all the other departments to ensure the clients are looked after from the start to finish.
What do you love about being a GSD at Baanx? 😎
I love the people at Baanx and I love working in a multicultural diverse team who are based globally. I also really enjoy being able to work with amazing clients who have some incredible and innovative projects.
What was the most exciting project you have been part of? 💥
I really enjoyed working on the Akoin project! The aim of the Akoin project is to deliver a positive social impact to local communities by opening up a range of financial services including decentralised apps. The Akoin Card, digital wallets and a range of other fintech products. The Baanx platform will allow Aikon users to convert their crypto to fiat at the time of the purchase.
Akoin is changing the game using their Akoin Utility Token (the native currency), and their Multi-Currency Wallet and Marketplace. Users will be able to ‘learn, earn, spend and save’ through their mobile phone as they connect and transact with the digital global economy with both, stored value and local fiat conversion. They really are bridging the gap for the unbanked nations.
